It is important to set a time (at least 10 minutes) each day. Starting on your own mindfulness-based therapy is going to be tough, but some apps can encourage you to practice mindfulness meditations by yourself.  Choose a place where you can concentrate and where there are no distractions.   

There are various techniques in practicing mindfulness –  basic mindfulness-based therapy, body sensations, sensory, emotions – with the goal to achieve a state of alertness and focused relaxation by consciously paying attention to thoughts and awareness without judgment.   


Mindfulness-based therapy is a practice you can do right in your cubicle at work during your break time, anywhere you feel comfortable doing deep breathing, and where you can have a moment to yourself.   


You may find mindfulness-based therapy boring at first and you may be discouraged, but like any other skill, you can develop it over time. With continuous mindfulness-based therapy practice, learning, and understanding its benefits, you will soon get the hang of it and will eventually be good at it.
